AMBrown Speech, LLC is knowledgeable and experienced with the evaluation and treatment of speech and language delays and disorders, including but not limited to the following:

Our Services 

Free Initial Consultation 

We offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your concerns and develop an action plan. We also suggest supplementary checks and procedures that may be beneficial before our first visit. You will learn about our approach to therapy and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have before scheduling. This is a risk free, way for you to determine if AMBrown Speech is right for you.

Speech and Language Evaluations 

Our speech-language evaluations provide a full and detailed picture of your child’s speech-language development, and where they may need some help. Our evaluations are based on a comprehensive review of medical records, interviews with parent’s and teachers, first hand observations in a natural setting, and the results any testing done and include recommendations and treatment goals.

Therapy 

Speech and language therapy provides treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication.

Treatment approaches are Evidenced Based and are tailored to meet the specific needs of our client’s. All of our therapist are certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), ensuring the best quality of care.

Articulation 

How we make speech sounds using the mouth, lips, and tongue.
For example, we need to be able to say the “r” sound to say "rabbit" instead of "wabbit.”

Language 

Language refers to the words we use and how we use them to share ideas and get what we want.
A language disorder is an impairment in comprehension and/or use of a spoken, written, and/or other communication symbol system.

Fluency 

This is the rhythm of our speech. We sometimes repeat sounds or pause while talking. People who do this a lot may stutter.

Pragmatics 

Pragmatics,  understanding of the social aspects of spoken language, including conversational exchanges

Voice 

How we use our vocal folds and breath to make sounds. Our voice can be loud or soft or high- or low-pitched. We can hurt our voice by talking too much, yelling, or coughing a lot.
